Hybrid Training
Strategically designed training program with integrated strength training and running. Ideal for aspiring or current tactical athletes, or those simply wanting to improve performance & health!
Level 1
Level 1 is a 4-week training block designed for those with little to no experience in strength training and/or running. The focus of this block is to build a strong base in both strength training and running.
Level 2
Level 2 is a 4-week training block that builds upon level 1. Running focuses on building a solid foundation with introductions to speed development. Strength training continues to build foundational strength and introduces higher intensity conditioning.
Level 3
Level 3 focuses on continuing to accumulate run volume, while introducing more advanced speedwork, such as intervals. Strength training also continues to accumulate volume, while focusing on hypertrophy & strength. Conditioning also continues to become more challenging.
Level 4
Level 4 continues with interval training, focusing on shorter distances, but faster speeds. Additionally, run volume continues to accumulate. Strength training will shift more into a strength focus, while incorporating movements typically involved in military training environments. Conditioning continues to intensify.
Level 5
Level 5 is the final block of the program. The focus here is to continue run volume accumulation, and includes the longest distance runs. There is also a continued increase in interval intensity. Strength training sees a continued strength focus at higher loads, while continuing to perform movements associated with military training.
